When you think “Shag” it leads to “Shaggy”, which then makes you think of “It Wasn’t Me” by Shaggy, or Shaggy from Scooby Doo. However, right now we are talking the Modern Shag!
The Shag haircut became popular in the 1970’s, and maintained its popularity through the 90’s with celebrity Jennifer Aniston having her own rendition with the “Rachel” haircut. The haircut has a look that says effortless and gives off a rock and roll vibe.
Although the shag haircut gained popularity decades ago, it makes for a bold and fun haircut that’s still modern.
